Before I speak about food, DAY 30 was ripped conditioning + ultimate abs. Ripped conditioning remind me of Strength and force upper xt. Using mostly bands. Didn't monitor how much I lost, I should've.
Ordered some powdered Peanut Butter on amazon, got the chocolate PB and the PB for $10. It tastes amazing with my herbalife shakes!! mm... I look forward to drinking it.
SNACKS: mmm these are soo good. I can eat the whole thing if i wanted to!!
Grocery shopping: went to walmart to get ingredients to make Turkey Jalepeno burgers and also other things.

Did plyo today. Tomorrow are DAY 30 pic for TAPOUXT. Kinda nervous.. I just feel like i've only seem some results in my arms and upper body. So far i've only lost a total of -2lbs and 11 inches. didn't lose much..
Workout summary of the night. After plyo tried out the sand bag for a few minutes. Pretty fun.

I received my Ultimate Sandbag Yesterday (Saturday) And I was so excited!! My boyfriend and I filled our sandbags with Quikrete Play Sand that we got at LOWES. The Sand isn't provided with the sandbag, because It would make shipping more expensive due to the weight.
This is a 50lb bag and cost $4.60. WE bought 2 of these.
I got the pink power package, while my boyfriend got the men's strength package

I sweated more than usual in this workout today. Idk what it was, maybe the AC wasn't on but my shirt was just covered in sweat. Afterwards we did some 8 min abs level 2 on youtube. That pretty much sums my workout for Saturday. I prefer working out in the mornings rather than at night.
On Friday we made it a rest day for tapout xt. But instead of resting, I went on the treadmill ran one mile and walked the rest. Afterwards I did Insanity Pure Cardio. I needed to get my workout in.. lol.
Here's an overall summary of the calories burned and max and avg HR. I really love my POLAR FT7.
All together on Friday's workout I burned 489 calories. Not too bad. I need to work on running. I really don't like running on a treadmill.. it's super boring. I'd rather run outside, but I wake up too late. Savoring my sleep before I start school again in September.
POLAR FT7 HR MONITOR WATCH!! I love this watch! It comes with a chest strap and a watch. At first I thought the chest strap would feel annoying when I work out but I hardly feel it at all. This watch seems so much more legit than my other 20 dollar HR monitor watch. which didn't have a chest strap and I didn't get to input my weight height and age which made the calories burned numbers inaccurate.
What I love about monitoring my heart rate is that I can push myself to increase my HR, because the harder you push yourself and the higher your HR the more calories you burn. To find out your max HR do this calculation (220-age). that will give you your max Heart rate.
But seriously, without knowing what my heart rate actually is, I would think i've reached my maximum heart rate, but really it's only in the 150's. It wasn't until I had this hr monitor to know what 180s feel like, and it literally feels intense!! I really love this because I can push myself a little harder knowing what my MAX HR is.
In addition to this morning's exercise: TAPOUT XT SPRAWL AND BRAWL I decided to have a late night 30 minute total workout, because I gave into my cravings.. ugh I so have to RESIST all these unhealthy good looking food... My mom brought home MANNY'S fried chicken, I only had one piece.. usually i'd have 3 pieces with a garlic bread a potato wedge and maybe 2 corns. But for today, I only had one chicken breast, and one corn, and one bite off a chocolate chip cookie that I got for free at PANERA.. oh goodness, after jotting down what I had eaten, I've totally failed today. BRAND NEW DAY TOMORROW must get to my goal!! grr...
From BODYROCKTV I did the sexy friggin body workout. With this workout I burned 115 calories in about 12 minutes. The ninja tuck jumps were the hardest for me. My legs were already sore from a tapoutxt workout.. so I did the modified version.
MAX HR: 184 AVG: 159
TURBO FIRE: in about 20 mins: I burned 161 calories, MAX HR: 185 AVG: 150

I think this is my favorite. I love the fighting moves, kicking punching stuff. Takes me back to when I used to do Taekwondo. I believe this was 40 minutes long. But within that 40 mins I burned nearly 400 calories. I think this is my favorite one so far. As for results, i've been noticing more results in my upperbody. Not so much my stomach area a little bit on my legs.. but My stomach and thighs are still flabby. As you can see in the video, my stomach is really sticking out.. Looks really ugly, but it's reality, I will lose it once I keep on training hard and watch what I eat.
DAY 26: SPRAWL AND BRAWL: worked out for a good 50 mins added some ab workout after the workout and burned up to 428 calories.
Today was buns and guns. It was only 31 minutes long. I would have to say this is the most least challenging of all workouts in the program so far. It was nice, but I would've wished for more dripping sweat. Since it was also still our first time doing it, we were still getting use to the moves.
I've been wanting to try out these Body Rock exercises for the longest, maybe since last summer. I also bought the gym boss interval timer a year ago but never touched it. I finally got a chance to try out two of the workouts today called DRIPPING WITH SWEAT- REAL TIME TRAINING + SUMMER SIX PACK. Within 25 minutes, I already burned 211 calories. my MAX HR was 182 and my average HR was 152. In the workout she used a sandbag, but I don't have my sand bag yet so I just used dumbbells and replicated her moves.
I like these HIIT training moves. You burn a lot of calories in a short amount of time. Perfect for those who are busy and can't really make time for long exercises. This will be useful once I get back to school. NO EXCUSES. 25 minutes isn't that long, or most of their workouts are 12 minutes long too.

I want to try doing sandbag exercise. I wanted to get a barbell at first.. but maybe a sandbag will do?
Any suggestions? Just want to incorporate weight training into my exercise for a toner body.
Today is WEEK 3 DAY 5 of TAPOUT XT. LEGS AND BACK for me. I also went for a jog on the treadmill because I need sorta get some training in for the NWM in October. I'm still not the fastest long distance runner, probably my miles are about 11-12 min.. Was hoping someday i'd get to 10-9 min/miles. Any tips and trips? I feel as if my heart is about to explode when try to run 10-9 min miles. but anything is better than nothing.
P.S I was so not in the mood to workout today. The hardest part of the workout is the beginning it, but I get such a wonderful feeling afterwards and I get so proud of myself for finishing!
Putting my new heart rate monitor to use. Polar FT7. JOGGED 50 mins straight, walked the rest.. 621 calories burned in 57 mins. I’m a very slow jogger, but gotta start somewhere! Doing something is always better than nothing.. Thank goodness for music ESP PITBULL station on pandora! Got lost in the music while jogging and that’s how I got to jog so far without stopping. Tow up from the floor up, but whatevs! No one to impress. Also lovin my Nike Lunareclipse 2! Flo rida music also pumps me up: wild ones and I gotta feeling! Tapout xt legs and back tonight week 3 day 5. #thisismymotivation!
Lately I've been feeling a lot stronger. My arms are feeling toner. However my main concern is my weight. The number on the scale is intimidating. I feel like i'm working so hard get my weight isn't even budging! I'm also trying my best to eat clean. Although the numbers on the scale isn't changing, I am losing inches throughout my body. I mostly feel it in my upper body. My stomach is still flabby, thighs still jiggly and big.. but it's all about taking it slow. Progress doesn't come over night. It got me more than a day to gain all this it will most definitely be more than a day to lose all of this. I just get impatient and discourage sometimes because I know i'm working hard.. yet dramatic changes haven't came yet. I know if i keep this up, I will be seeing dramatic changes! LETS HOPE I DO KEEP THIS UP AND KEEP MY MOTIVATION UP!
Have to keep this quote in mind.
I also invested in a new heart rate monitor watch. My old one was okay.. but I feel like the calories burned were inaccurate because it didn't take my height weight or age into consideration. I read reviews about the polar FT7 HR monitor watch, and it also tracks how many calories you've burned and stores it to your watch. It also comes with a chest strap, which seems more legit than my other HR monitor which didn't come with a chest strap. So far i'm loving it.
NEVER GIVE UP!! BECAUSE ONCE YOU DO, YOU'D HAVE TO START ALL OVER AGAIN!!

I feel like i'm getting a lot toner in my upper body area. I've also noticed my cellulite on my thighs are slowly disappearing. Not a dramatic change, but there little change! Slowly but surely!
This has a lot of cardio, hence the name CARDIO XT. It was a bit challenging only because it was a new workout of week 2. Sprawl and Brawl and Cardio XT alternate every week. Sprawl and Brawl was much more fun. I also didn't perform as well as I should have, due to a blister on my foot. I thought it was healing, but as I was doing this workout again barefoot (I feel like sneakers weigh me down), the blister reappeared and it felt like it popped so it stung a bit. But I pushed through and did the best that I could. That's why I put on my socks and sneakers near middle end of this workout.
Here's a picture of me back in '08 weighing 112.
Oh how i'd kill for that body again. I was also wearing
my 7 for all mankind jeans size 26. by the look of it,
they fit me pretty loosely. oh the days.
This afternoon I did Insanity Plyo Cardio Circuit. Yesterday I did the fit test. I'm still debating whether or not I should do Insanity, along with TAPOUT XT as a hybrid. However, I know when I start school again, I probably won't have time to fit in 2 workouts in one day. We will see!!
My motivation is to look fantastic for my BSN PINNING ceremony in December. Technically my graduation. I want to find a dress where I don't have to worry about wearing spanx to cover up my gut. I just want to look absolutely amazing! I also want to look great for my Boyfriend and I's 8 year anniversary January 3, 2012, SUMMER 2013, most importantly to look great and fit for the rest of my life. I want this to be a whole lifestyle change. I know they'll be some challenges, but I have to stay motivated and look at my "WHY I WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT" list to remind myself how bad I want this.
