I received this my package last weekend but didnt get to try it out until today.. omg.. it's pretty intense.. the jump roping part was hard for me. lol. I would've thought that would've been the easier fun part.. but omg i was out of breath! and i kept trippin over the rope. hahah! after doing this workout.. all i gotta say is that i need a lot of improvement!!

Just got done doing INSANITY PURE CARDIO.
mann.. that was tough..
Although this is my 2nd round, it feels like it's my 1st!
it's still as rough as I remember doing it my first time.
But it will get better in time as long as i keep pushing..
pushing my limit..
I'm proud of myself. I've really been forcing myself
to work out and count my calories and watch what i eat.
But i splurge here and there. I'm human.. okay.
My Fitness Pal is a great app, and website that I mentioned from
my other blog post.
I've been entering all the foods i've been eating
and it helps me not go over my calories!!
So far i've lost 3lbs in the past 2 weeks.
I was 125 fluctuating around 127 sometimes..
But I weighed myself in today and I was 122.4! yess!!
115-118 would be a nice goal weight.
I just want to fit my size 3 jeans again,
lose the stomach flab,
upper back flab,
and of course my thigh fat.
my thighs cant fit into the size 3 jeans..
they're too big. lol.
For breakfast I made myself a green berry shakeology
I added a bit of mango nectar juice, some water and berries.
i estimated the calories and it came up to 280.
it's probably a little bit less than that, but i like adding more
just so i can have excess calories without going over.
I initially wanted to start my workout at 11pm today.
However I got a little bit tired and was deciding on holding it off until tomorrow.
But it thought twice, because that would mean I would have to do 2 workouts tomorrow.
So I waited it out a bit, and took like a 20 minute nap..
Then.. as much as i didn't want to work out so late, and still felt really sleepy,
I pushed myself and worked out. Today was the end of WEEK 1 of Insanity round 2.
After the warm up, I was feeling wide awake, and I was ready to take on this workout.
My upper body strength is horrible. Push ups are a dread, but as much as i hate them,
they are great at sculpting my upper body. Which is what I want. I want my back
and arms to be more defined. and I also want to lose the upper back fat.
Anyways, I almost made an excuse to not work out today..
and my excuse was "it's getting late.. I don't want to wake anyone up."
But I fooled myself because everyone in my family was up except for my dad..
So, instead of not exercising, i got my butt up and forced myself to do the best that I can.
And now i feel great that i did it!!
Just think about it.. another step closer to my goal weight and body!!

My game plan is that after 2 months of insanity..
i'll be done around end of may,
I'm going to start the Insane Asylum after that for another 30 days.
OR, i might do it in combination with the 2nd month of Insanity.
We'll see!! But i'm gonna get my BODY in time for my 21st birthday! lol!!
I will be taking before and after pictures, monitoring my weight and measurements.
I hope the insane asylum gives out free shirts like insanity did after the program!

You enter your goal weight and many lbs you want to lose in a week, i put 2. and u put in ur present weight and it will calculate your calorie intake per day.
You can also log the food you ate and keep track of your calories that way. you can also input your workouts and how many calories you've lost! it's so very useful! you can also sign up online for it!

i felt really good today. I came home from school feeling all tired, and wanted to take a nap. But i resisted temptation and I worked out and now i feel better and awake!
I also made myself a meal today. I made whole wheat penne pasta with ground turkey with seasoning and some baked asparagus.

I am determined to do round 2 of insanity.
It's a brand new month, summer is right around the corner..
I have 2 months to complete round 2, so i'll be done by the end of May
after may, i'll start jogging and training for the Nike Marathon.
or i'll be doing that in between.
This same time last year I was so determined to lose weight
and that's when I started insanity round 1.
I lost 12 lbs, but it wasn't too my goal weight.
but It was good enough for me to rock a medicore summer body.
This year, I want to get to my goal weight..
118 would be nice..
maybe 10 more lbs or 7 more lbs i'll be good.
of course, i need to control my eating habits..
have been eating a lot of chocolate and cookies..
which are a big no no!
I'm going to start counting my calories again like I use to.
That really helped me managed my diet and I saw a lot of improvement.
especially making meals for myself instead of buying meals.
substituting white rice for brown rice and whole wheat pasta
helped me a lot with my weight loss too.
I really need to be determined.
yeah i realized that I haven't been as active as I use to..
that's because my old ways caught up to me again..
i take a lot of naps after school because I get so tired..
but instead of naps i'm gonna try and work out..
hopefully after the workouts it'll leave me some time to do school work.
The end of the semester is coming to a close, 3 more weeks and 2 days until finals
It's getting stressful.. so much to do!
But i'll try my best to squeeze in some workouts.
I can feel my body getting chubbier.
I remember last summer i had some space in my jeans..
now my jeans fit me almost perfectly.
I want to get down to a size 3.. that a size away from what I am now.
Hopefully i'll keep this blog active..
and make more videos of my journey.
