I took a long nap! I was planning on napping until 3, but ended up waking up at 5:30!! ahh!! oh well. On the brighter side i feel up and more awake. I knew I was going to get hungry later on so i thawed out some Salmon before I napped and when I woke up I made me and my housemates some dinner. Made Salmon, pasta, and rice. I made rice just incase they wanted to eat salmon with that instead of the pasta. Now i'm eating my dinner and about to study and all that lovely crap! added some basil pesto to the pasta Fresh catch of the Day! LOL nah, i'm kidding!
It's been so long since I've exercised. I've been holding off on it because of school, but I really want to get back into working out again. I need to lose another 10lbs to get to my goal weight. maybe 12lbs because I actually gained 2lbs.. :/ and of course I need to be aware of what I eat now. I did Insanity Plyometric Cardio Circuit. I was surprised that I can still keep up with the warms ups. I thought I would struggle a bit like the first time I ever did insanity, but luckily I still got it in me! The horrible part though was the pushups.. man I really hate pushups!! LOL!! overall, the workout wasn't as bad or as hard as I thought it would be. I thought I'd be having a really hard time keeping up. There were times where it felt like my heart was about to jump out of my chest tho. LOL I'll work on my endurance again!! I forgot how good of a high I get from exercising. It's like it boosts up my self-esteem and gets me more pumped up for the day! It feels really good.. Getting up to exercise is just darn hardest part!! me a few mins after the work out. Got this water jug at walmart for $2.00. drinking that much is your daily serving of water. I needed this to keep me on track with drinking my water, because i'm horrible at it! good thing is that there is no BPA.
While I was exercising, my little cousin Karley came over with her dad and she came upstairs to see what I was doing. After the workout, I made myself a green berry shakeology with froze peaches,, orange strawberry pineapple juice, a lil bit of water and ice and the greenberry powder. Haven't had a shakeology in a while, I should have it more often. i like mines blended with ice, but at my apartment, we dont have an instant ice maker.. but I guess i can just mix it with water. Drinking shakeology reminds me of the summer time! ahh I miss the summer!

I've been making school feel really hectic.. Last week wasn't so bad.. but I have a whole lot of reading to do.. :/ I mainly stressed because the TEAS test is coming on September 18th.. AND I really need to focus and study for this exam.. It's my last chance taking it.. On top of that I have a Physio test that same week.. So many things to do for so many class.. But my main concerns are Physio and the TEAS. After the TEAS I'll be a tiny bit less stressed, but I still have Physio in my hands. For that class, I have to maintain a B- or better to pass the class.. If not I have to take another semester and that would be my last chance taking that class. However, I DO NOT WANT TO STAY ANOTHER SEM!!!! So, I really need to step up my game. No playing around. If I work hard, i'll be able to play harder!
So yeah.. I've been getting so stressed.. I organized my planner yesterday.. Wrote down important dates from the syllabi for all my classes.. This will really keep me on track! I love planners ;)
Let's see.. the classes i'm taking this semester is Physio, ISAC (integrative studies across culture, it's mandatory class for attending that schooll :/) Sociology, and NEW TESTAMENT (requirement for the school.. :/) Mondays and Thursdays are my longest days.
Monday I have Physio from 11-12:15 then lab from 1:30 to 5:30
Tues: New Testament at 9:30-10:45 Then Socio 11-12:15
Wednesday is just Physio from 11-12:15
Thurs, same as Tuesday, except i have ISAC from 4:30 to 7:00
That's basically my schedule.. lol.. I'm going to pause exercising for a bit.. until I take my TEAS test.. I have a lot going through my head and would like to settle everything first.. After that, i will exercise daily :D.
Summer was super fun! I had a bunch of great time with family and friends. Although I didn't get to do everything on my list of things to do, I still had an amazing summer. First thing on my list was to go to six flags, and I certainly did just that. We also went to Monterrey & San Francisco. I hope next summer is a lot more relaxing though. I was a bit stressed out from my TEAS test b/c i didn't pass the first time.. and I only have one more try to take it.. Like i said on my previous posts, If i don't pass the 2nd time.. I have to find a different nursing school to go to.. and basically all the money is a waste.. That's why I was stressed b/c I didn't know when to take it.. I didn't even feel like studying to be quite honest.. I simply just wanted to enjoy my summer and get some sun!!

Sadly, I have to go back to Oakland for school.. I wouldn't even mind going to school here where I live.. Man I know ppl say it's boring and all that over here.. but I really don't mind it at all.. I don't mind living in the valley :D. I actually love it here. But I know If I study here.. i won't get much done..
Here I go.. leaving my loved ones to study.. Taking Physio this sem, & on top of that I have to study for my TEAS test that's coming up Sep 18th. Good lucky to me eh? So nervous for this semester.. I have to get it right.. or else I can't move on.
You'll probably start seeing less of me updating my blogs.. darn. I really enjoy taking pics and posting them up.. Maybe winter break? I'll be going to the Philippines in December for my cousin's wedding.
Although i'm dreading going back to school.. I can't wait for next summer b/c if I do well this semester and pass my classes and my TEAS then i'll have a LONGER summer that awaits me. I transfer to Samuel Merritt <~ Nursing school (IF I DO WELL) in the Spring, and we end vacation end of April, and Start beginning of September. YES! Wish me luck yall.. I'll have gray hairs by the time you u see pictures of me next summer! I really have to keep up with my exercising too tho!!!! SOMEONE KEEP ME ON TRACK!

alright, so it's sorta healthy!! lol.. except for the butter part.
Ingredients:
Chicken Breast
Long Grain brown rice
Asparagus
Potatoes
Broccoli
Onions
Olive oil
Salt & Pepper
Garlic Powder
Cayenne Red pepper
Butter
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
lol old school oven..
PREP the rice.
I added 2 cups of brown rice.
Rinse rice well. I rinsed it about 3 times
Add water to the 3rd line
Let that cook in the rice cooker
Prep Veges. Wash em well and break of the hard stems of asparagus
Cut potato
Do the same for asparagus
Cut onion
Put all in a tray
Drizzle a bit of olive oil into the mix
Add some salt and pepper
Prep your chicken. Wash your chicken well!! Then pat it down with some napkins and SEASON! Make sure to wash your hands well after handling meat! :D
Place chicken in tray on top of the veges
Add butter on top, this is optional..
Throw it in the oven.. Put timer on for 35 mins, or until the chicken is well cooked! Make sure not pink is shown.
After that's in the oven.. CLEAN YOUR SURROUNDINGS! ahh so refreshing.. I'm pretty anal about cleaning up and being clean when I cook.

Motivation.. It's getting really hard for me to actually workout every single day. When I was on the Insanity program I never missed a day!! That's why I got the results I got. Now i'm just wanting to eat everything and anything.. esp unhealthy things.. but I'm watching myself slowly gaining weight again.. I need to really focus and be determined again!! I want more results! What helps motivate me are pictures of myself when i was skinnier! LOL! Whenever I look at those pictures it makes me want to do 5000 situps and pushups and run like there's no tomorrow!!! Well ima go do Insanity Pure Cardio.. because this workout really gets my heart out of my chest and it doesnt feel long.. even though its 40 mins of "INTENSE" cardio! I know if I do this, it will all pay off in the end! NO MORE BEING LAZY!!!!

Bought pre-cut onions and salsa ingredients.. Just to speed up the process b/c i was getting hungry. I made the cupcakes before this, & haven't had breakfast yet.. I know BAD!!!
Sautee the onions & garlic <~ didn't buy that pre-cut.. lol
Add in the ground chicken & cook very well! until NO PINK IS SEEN!!
Taco seasoning.. and a lil bit of salt and pepper
added some pre-cut red onions
add juices of one lime
Roll to get juices flowing <~ as what rachel ray would say. lol
Slice it in half
